The professional
Ruth enjoys working through difficult and complex business issues to get a resolution that suits the organisation she is working with, whether this may be process change, a new IT system, upgrade or minor improvements. She has a passion for helping organisations improve their business, and enjoys communicating and building relationships with a wide range of people.
Ruth has worked with many clients in usability projects such as expert reviews, user testing, information architecture, wireframe creation and interaction design, and persona creation. In addition Ruth has experience in project management and service delivery management.
Some of the clients Ruth has completed usability projects for are Vodafone, Archives NZ, Department of Conservation, Greater Wellington, Westpac, Ministry of Tourism, Parliamentary Service, Sorted.org, NZ Post, Inland Revenue, Ministry of Economic Development , and Kiwibank.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (with First Class Honours) majoring in Operations Research
The person
Most of Ruth, and her husband Jonathon’s, time is spent with their two school-aged kids. In winter they head to Mt Ruapehu to go skiing and in summer can be found at Riversdale Beach in the Wairarapa.
When Ruth gets time to herself she manages to fit in some vintage shopping, running with friends and pilates.
