Ruth Brown, Senior Consultant

The professional

Ruth has been consulting for seven years in a broad range of industries. Her work with businesses includes general consulting, project management and service delivery management.

She enjoys working through difficult and complex business issues to get a resolution that suits the business she is working with, whether this may be process change, a new IT system or upgrade. She has a passion for helping organisations improve their business, and enjoys communicating and building relationships with a wide range of people.

Ruth’s main areas of consulting are: General IT and business consulting; business process modelling and process improvement; business analysis; mathematical modelling and statistics; and call centre operations.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (with First Class Honours) majoring in Operations Research

The person

Most of Ruth, and her husband Jonathon’s, time is spent with their two small kids. Some particular family favourites are swimming, sailing, and going to the beach and camping in the Wairarapa. Their aim this year is to get the kids skiing (although it may not be in their best interests to get lessons from their parents).

When Ruth gets time to herself she manages to fit in some vintage shopping, running with friends and pilates.
